Raila who was speaking on Sunday in Borabu said he was ‘sure’ of clinching presidency and challenged two leader allied to the ruling coalition to decamp for the sake of their safety before 2017 polls.

Mr. Odinga said Jubilee government would sink the country to an economic crisis should they retain power in the next elections.

“My friend Henry Obwocha and Mwancha Okioma should consider joining the opposition because I am very sure that we will win presidency come next year. This is the winning team and I hope they will be part of it,” he said.

Raila added: “Jubilee government cannot be trusted with leadership anymore because you have seen scandals all over. Our country will sink to an economic crisis if these people get their way back to power,” he added.

Mr. Obwocha is a former MP West Mugirango while Okioma served in Kitutu Masaba for a single term between 2003-2007.

The two leaders however kept off politics when they were given chance to address mourners who had attended Mrs. Peris Kegoro’s funeral.
