This is according to a recent election poll conducted by Nairobi lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

In the poll, 60 per cent of the respondents said they will back Raila for the presidency.

At least 40 per cent of the 'voters' said they will vote in Uhuru for a second term.

At the close of the online poll, a total 7,012 voters cast their votes. Ahmednassir tweeted, "Uhuru 40%...Raila 60%, this is a scientific polling...don't worry...no rigging here..."

Senators, journalists, politicians are said to be among those who took part in the poll which stirred heated debate.

This comes in the wake of another poll done by Ipsos, which placed President Kenyatta ahead of Mr. Odinga.
