Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has revealed how opposition chief Raila Odinga adviced him days after he returned to the city from Machakos where he was in a self-imposed exile owing to the reduction of his security.
Sonko who has been accusing Interior Principal Secretary Mr Karanja Kibicho of the troubles hitting him said on Saturday Odinga called him and urged him to be strong.
"When Raila's security was withdrawn did his life continue or not. What about when they did the same to Joho. Raila called me yesterday and told me to be strong," said Sonko.
Sonko was speaking on Sunday at the AIPC church in Njiru, Nairobi county. The county boss was in the company of over 100 MCAs drawn from different political parties.
Nairobi county assembly Majority leader Mr Abdi Guyo said they are supporting governor Sonko.
