A top NASA adviser has acknowledged impending difficulty in swearing Raila Odinga as president due to absence of Kalonzo Musyoka, who was opposition's running mate.
Oduor Ongwen, who doubles as ODM Director, says the team is weighing options as race against time hits the strategists team.
"The challenge we have is whether to swear Raila as president as planned," Ongwen told the Sunday Nation.
Government through legal adviser Githu Muigai has since dismissed Tuesday's planned inauguration insisting that it amounts to treason.
But with Kalonzo's continued stay in Germany has even brought more confusions within the opposition team as the strategists remain in darkness about Raila's deputy presence.
"We don't know whether he will get time to com home or we send a team of judges to Germany for his swearing-in," added Ongwen.
At Germany, the former Vice President is attending to his sick wife, Pauline Kalonzo, who is suffering from unknown ailment.
