Estranged Kenyan businessman Don Bosco Gichana has faulted President Uhuru Kenyatta's regime for his continued detention in Arusha prison.
For five years now, Bosco has languished in jail despite authorities failing to prove money laundering and fraud allegations.
In a letter circulated by a lobby group 'Free Don', the IT specialiased who enjoys cordial relationship with Raila Odinga, castigated Jubilee government for abandoning his plight.
"I am not a lesser Kenyan. I hold Kenyan citizenship by birth and the government has given me a deaf ear.
"It is not long ago when they freed some people from South Sudan yet my case has been overlooked. Time shall come when justice shall not be administered based on our second names," he said.
So dramatic has been his case that even Raila has tried before to rescue him by dispatching special delegations to Tanzania.
And in the process, residents of Kisii and Nyamira Counties have often attacked Raila for doing 'too little' to save his former financier.
The US has been fighting for his extradition, a matter which is yet to see the light.
