Ex-Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has termed attempts to torch his house 'barbaric and archaic' hours after the incident was reportedly.
Youths allegedly allied to a local Jubilee politician reportedly planned to execute the plan before they were frustrated by locals.
Through a family spokesman Moseti Moseti, Bosire warned against attempts to silence his voice by the government.
"They were in Jubilee attires and condemned Bosire of allegedly frustrating them in conducting businesses at the constituency.
"Such attempts are archaic and retrogressive. Bosire will not be silenced by acts of cowardice from agents of impunity working with Jubilee," he said.
Later this month, Bosire who challenged victory of John Mose, would know the fate of his petition, with Moseti linking the attack to the political competitors.
According to Moseti, residents of Nyamwanga village, organised themselves and flushed the perpetrators who were allegedly armed with cans of petroleum.
