Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo has hit out at the police for allegedly withdrawing the security detail attached to NASA leaders. This comes after Bungoma Senator and NASA co-principal Moses Wetang'ula on Wednesday claimed that his security had been withdrawn. The Ford Kenya leader blamed the State for his troubles, adding that the government will be held responsible should anything happen to them (NASA leaders).Weighing in on the matter, Amollo hit out at the government saying that the security of opposition leaders matters.Amollo said the State should be ready to carry all the blame should anything happen to the NASA leaders."So, the Kenyan Police “Force” believes recalling all security officers of opposition MPs would serve to intimidate??!! Laughable! Wait till an MP’s life is lost and weigh the cost of by-elections and attendant protests against the cost of securing them! Impunity & Idiocy meet!” said Amollo in a tweet on Wednesday. The former Ombudsman was part of NASA leader Raila Odinga's presidential petition legal team.
