Nyamira governor John Nyagarama reportedly remains in hospital despite scanty communication from his team.
Throughout Kakamega Conference, the ODM governor remained missing in action and instead opting to deploy his deputy Amos Nyaribo.
And a source who spoke in confidence, said that the county boss has remained hospitalised in a Nairobi hospital.
"He is recuperating in a Nairobi hospital for weeks now. He was unable to support himself while walking but hopefully he shall be fine.
"It is not such a big concern but his health has substantially improved. Possibly he will get out by the end of this week," said the source.
Also, one of his son has remained hospitalised in Nairobi Hospital for weeks now according to the source.
Last year, the governor was struggling with one of his legs, and could not walk upright all the time.
