Opposition leader Raila Odinga is expected to make a 'major' announcement to his supporters on Monday.

This is after he boycotted a presidential poll where President Uhuru Kenyatta is headed for a landslide win.

The Opposition has however called the repeat poll nothing but a sham.

Speaking to his supporters in Kibra after the poll,  Raila dismissed the vote and told his supporters he will give the way forward on Monday.

Raila's confidant James Orengo said the announcement will shock President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

“We will shock them. They will know that you can have power and the guns, but you cannot rule over a people that have refused to obey your leadership,” said Orengo.
