Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has said that Deputy President William Ruto might win the 2022 presidential race.
According to Malala, Ruto will emerge winner if the electoral injustice is not addressed soon.
"William Ruto will be the president if we don’t sort out this issue now. We need to clear the electoral mess committed last year before we think of 2022," he said.
The outspoken lawmaker further stated that Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi might also clinch the presidency.
"Mudavadi cannot be president unless the electoral injustices previously committed are dealt with," he asserted.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga had promised to address the perennial issue of electoral injustice in a bid to "build bridges to a new Kenyan nation.
