Nyakerario Mayaka, the lady who spearheaded Daughters of Raila campaigns, may have after all resumed her duties as ODM's nominated MCA in Nyamira.
So intriguing has been her case that she had the court ruling in her favour, a move that led to removal of Damaris Mouni from the assembly where she had served for six months.
And even after that, Mouni moved to High Court where she got conservatory orders to restrain Ms. Mayaka from assuming her roles.
The intrigues led to county speaker Moffat Teya's decision to bar the two ladies from attending assembly sessions until the matter was resolved in the court.
But at Mombasa on Wednesday, Mayaka represented the Nyamira Assembly in the ongoing MCAs forum, an indication that she may have gotten her way back top the assembly.
In May, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna wrote a letter that emphasized that Mayaka was a legitimate nominee of the the party.
It is not clear whether Mouni, who was accused of using backdoor to the assembly, has withdrawn the case after Raila Odinga's intervention.
