Ms Irene Nyakerario, the ring leader of the famous 'Daughters of Raila' faction, on Wednesday was at the center stage of bitter wrangles in Nyamira assembly, few days after taking oath.
Last week, a Nyamira court instructed the clerk to swear her in as MCA for the ODM party, a judgment that was a culmination of intriguing court wrangles.
And when the assembly proceedings kicked off, one Damaris Mouni, who had been kicked out by the ODM party, stormed the assembly insisting that she was the legitimate representative of the party.
But county speaker Moffat Teya, was forced to intervene and make a ruling on who between the two was alllowed to transact business for the orange party.
Assembly business came to a halt with the speaker ordering Mouni out of the chambers adding that Nyakerario had been cleared by the court to serve as MCA.
For five months, Mouni, who according to court records, imposed herself as ODM's nominee, lost a court case to Nyakerario, who initial party records showed that had been nominated.
In his ruling, the speaker noted that Mouni remained a 'stranger' adding that she is free to appeal the court's verdict.
