Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has ‘revealed’ NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga’s plan to ‘sacrifice country’ in order to ascend to State House. Mr Ngunyi and his team of analysts at The 5th Estate claim that the ODM leader is downright reckless and will not mind splitting country and lying to win the presidency. “The country is in a chronic state of self-denial. We do not want to admit that this election is a replay of 2007,” one analyst argues. “That in 2007, we saw the violence coming. But instead of doing something, we buried our heads in self-denial,” lawyer J.M, a PhD candidate at the Swiss MC Uni Zurich, says. The analysts expose what they see as Raila’s plot to defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 presidential election. The argue that Raila’s claim of ’10 million strong' is what his national tallying centre will use to declare him the winner, even if he does not win. “Today the drums of war are beating,” says respected analyst Mutahi Ngunyi. “Raila has a tallying centre ready to declare him the winner. And he has already told us that he is winning by 10 million votes. If IEBC declares him the loser, he told that he will not go to court,” Ngunyi says, adding that Raila will go to the people and have them declare him the president. “If he (Raila) tried to do so in 2007, why would he not try to do so again this time round.”“As we enter into campaign mode today, must remember that the country is not in a good place — we do not know where we are going, but we are going there very fast,” the political scientist, who correctly predicted the outcome of the 2013 presidential contest using the tyranny of numbers theory, adds.
