Controversial blogger Robert Alai has taken to social media criticising the recent ordeal featuring Ghana's president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo who has been accused of plagiarising speeches by Bill Clinton and George W Bush during his inaugural address to the state.
Through a post on his official Facebook page, Alai laughed off the thought of Ghanaian citizens entrusting someone who was capable of plagiarism with the mandate of bringing reforms and fight corruption.
Alai further mentioned that the Ghanaian head of state was a "friend to someone he knows" apparently referring to opposition leader Raila Odinga.
"Veteran opposition leader who had just been elected President is a veteran plagiarist. He is the same one Ghanaians think will bring reforms and fight corruption? Rafiki ya someone I know," Alai posted.
"If you steal even words, what will stop you from looting the entire Central Bank? Nana Akufo Addo has just killed me," he added.
