Speaking in Mwingi town on Saturday, Mulyungi said as things are now, it's every politician for himself hence Kalonzo should understand that his and Raila's ties were cut long time ago.

Mulyungi said Raila's handshakes with President Uhuru Kenyatta and retired President Daniel Moi was a personal decision for personal gains hence should not come as surprise to the former Vice President.

He argued that his sentiments were based on the fact that other NASA co-principals, Musalia Mudavadi (Amani), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) and Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) are still in the dark on what was discussed during the handshakes.

Mulyungi said the Luhya community has started regathering itself in preparation of 2022 politics hence the Kamba community should follow suit.

"For how long will you allow Raila to take you for a ride, stand up for yourself and start branding your political bid. As far as I am concerned, the handshakes meant nothing to Wiper since we were not part of them," Mulyungi said.

He advised Kalonzo to find potential politicians who he can join hands with in order to attain victory in 2022 presidential elections.
