Raila Odinga on Tuesday cracked a joke at Consolata Shrines that left mourners laughing on his 'presidential status.
On Tuesday, a defiant Raila took presidential oath despite warning by government of possible arrest over treason.
When invited by incoming Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Raila wondered why he was not given a presidential recognition.
"There is something Eugene forgot when addressing me. He should have referred to me as His Excellency," he said amid laughters.
He added: "I am the people's president and I am yet to know he refers to other people as presidents and not me."
They were both mourning Yvonne Wamalwa, widow to Ex-Vice President Michael Wamalwa who passed on last week.
