National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga has insisted that the journey to Canaan is unstoppable. Raila, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top post,  urged his supporters  not to tire as they fight for what he terms as the third and final liberation of this nation from poor governance.

The Former Prime Minister also downplayed claims that the defection of several leaders who lost during the last general election has left the political outfit weaker. The opposition was speaking after former Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan defected from Wiper to join Jubilee.

"Our journey to Canaan is on and almost complete. Of the team that left Egypt for Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb were able to cross to the Promised Land. Many others fell by the wayside. So don’t worry about defectors. Ask yourself whether Joshua and Caleb are with you and if they are willing to take you to the promised land," he said, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.

In the meantime, Raila has maintained that he will not take part in the election if he election demands are not met.
