ODM leader Raila Odinga has told Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama to stop criticising his running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka.
Muthama has engaged the Wiper party leader in public outbursts in the recent past. He has reportedly been campaigning against Wiper candidates in Ukambani region.
On Sunday, Kalonzo seemed to have lost his cool, when he said Raila will at some point have to choose between him and Muthama.
“You have to respect the Wiper leader,” the outspoken senator was told.
"Raila has personally spoken to the senator and asked him to work with Kalonzo," an aide to Raila was quoted by The Star.
Kalonzo is said to have considered Muthama “very disrespectful” after he failed to pick his calls last week Friday.
Raila has reportedly spoken to Muthama to ensure peace within NASA.
