The National Super Alliance (Nasa) chief Raila Odinga, has sent a thank you message to the coalition's legal team, which represented him at the Supreme Court.
Nasa had filed a petition against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), its chairman Wafula Chebukati, and Jubilee Party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta, contesting results of the August 8 presidental election, saying it was rigged.
The Alliance emerged victor, after the Supreme Court nullified the election, saying the election IEBC was marred by irregularities, and directed that another election be held in 60 days, starting September 1.
Nasa was represented by various lawyers, who Raila thanked them, during a public rally at Mathare Grounds, Sunday.
The legal team included: Senor counsel James Orengo (Siaya senator); Otiende Amollo (Rarieda MP); Paul Mwangi; Pheroze Nowrojee; Amos Wako (Busia senator); Okong'o Omogeni (Nyamira senator) among others.
