National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga may ‘disappear’ ahead of the fresh election, a section of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handlers have claimed.

According to the Star, Uhuru's allies fear that the leader of the opposition may not return into the nation as we head of the fresh election. If this happens, the Independent Boundaries and Elections Commission (IEBC) will be left in an awkward position.

This is after Raila revealed his plan to travel to the United Kingdom. President Uhuru has been accusing Raila of attempting to use foreign nations to ascend to power through unconstitutional means. His trip to any foreign nation is seen as a scheme to fulfill his plot. The US and other foreign nations have, however, denied having interest in the politics of this nation.

“We are neutral and have no agenda other than to help ensure the Kenyan people have a successful election. We do not support any party, any candidate, or any outcome. We did not back any politician in the August 8 election, and we will not for this poll either,’’ Godec and EU ambassadors and High Commissioners said last week, as quoted by the local daily.
