National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to desist from hoodwinking Kenyans with ‘the victim-in-chief mentality’ and admit that he is to blame for the problems the nation has faced in the recent years.
Raila, a former prime minister, said that President Uhuru’s regime has done Kenyans more harm than good.
He also said that the opposition will not allow Uhuru and his allies to misuse resources meant for the common mwananchi adding that Jubilee has killed the economy of this nation.
“NASA wishes to tell Uhuru to stop the victim-in-chief mentality and accept that he has caused the trouble and must take responsibility for the situation in the country," the NASA Chief said, as quoted by Star.
The opposition leader also said that the current regime has taken the nation where it has never been since we got independence.
He noted that the nation is characterized by rampant cases of corruption and abuse of office among other vices.
"Kenya is where it is because the president and his Jubilee party tried to steal elections and were caught and stopped thus putting the country on a path we have never traveled since independence in 1963," Raila said in a statement on Sunday.
