National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga has spoken for the first time after asking his supporters to boycott October 26 presidential election.

In an interview with Hot 96 Fm on Friday, Odinga criticised the IEBC for calling for elections in Kisumu, Siaya, Migori and Homa Bay on Saturday.

Odinga told his supporters in the four counties to stay away from the polling stations to avoid being harmed by the police.

He said that the low voter turn out witnessed across the country was a clear testimony that Kenyans had lost confidence in Jubilee administration.

The opposition leader said that repeating the poll in the four Nyanza region counties amounts to ethnic profiling since people did not vote in most parts of the country.

Voting did not take place in the four counties after youth barricaded roads, hampering transportation of election materials to polling stations.

Most IEBC officials in the NASA strongholds kept off polling stations, saying they feared for their lives.
