NASA leaders Raila Odinga has asked the Bomas draft of the 2010 constitution to be included in the talks about the interim government that the coalition has asked to be formed.
While talking to Kenyans living in Washington DC, Odinga stated that the Bomas 2010 constitution draft is the only reliable document that can solve the political standoff in the country now.
“The original Bomas draft had a hybrid system of government where we had a Prime Minister and a President,” said Odinga.
Odinga said that the document was unfairly discarded yet it had the remedies to all the political instabilities in this country.
According to Odinga, the document had advocated for the formation of a Prime Minister’s post who would be in charge of government and cabinet.
