The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has laid down new strategies to beat Jubilee in 2017 polls.
Opposition chief Raila Odinga is this weekend set to begin a three-month tour across the country in a bid to win support in next year’s elections.
Raila first tour his strongholds before visiting regions where Jubilee enjoy great support.
ODM Chairman John Mbadi said Raila will be in Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo/Marakwet on Saturday and Sunday.
Mbadi said the Cord leader will visit Kakamega and Bungoma counties in the Western region, where there seems to be rebellion.
“We shall then move to Trans Nzoia and West Pokot counties before going to Coast, then move to Kisii and Nyamira and later visit the Luo Nyanza counties,” he said.
The Opposition has faced setbacks with mass defections from the giant ODM party.
Leaders from Kisii, Western and Coast regions have defected to the Jubilee party as the ruling coalition intensifies its campaigns for 2017 polls.
