The Raila Odinga led ODM party has sent messages of condolence to the family of Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama who is the ODM member following the demise of his son Ndemo Nyagarama.
Ndemo Nyagarama died on Monday evening at Nairobi hospital where he has been receiving treatment for several weeks.
ODM party took to social media to mourn with the family.
“We have received with profound shock the passing on of Ndemo Nyagarama, son to H.E. John Nyagarama, governor Nyamira County this evening at the Naoribi hospital due to acute meningitis,” the party posted on its official twitter account.
“The ODM family condoles with the family of Hon. Nyagarama and prays for God’s peace during this time,” the party added.
Messages of condolences are flowing from politicians, Nyamira residents and Kenyans, some streaming through social media wihile others are using telephone.
