Opposition chief Raila Odinga has invited President Uhuru Kenyatta to dialogue in an effort to unlock the country's current political crisis.
Speaking on Wednesday during an interview with Radio Jambo, the former Prime Minister noted that he was ready for roundtable discussions with the Jubilee's top leadership.
“We need to solve our own problems and I am ready to hold talks with anyone so that we can get a solution to the current stalemate,” he remarked.
The NASA leader was, however, quick to dismiss speculations that he wants to push for a coalition government with the Jubilee administration.
He further blasted the state for withdrawing his security and that of NASA leaders, asserting that there was an ulterior motive to that.
“They didn’t even write a letter to notify me when they would be withdrawing my security detail and it was in the middle of the campaign. We even needed more officers,” he said.
Raila has since announced his withdrawal from the forthcoming presidential repeat polls, citing lack of electoral reforms within IEBC.
