NASA leader Raila Odinga's quest to form the People's Assembly has suffered another setback.
This is after Jubilee MCAs in Kwale protested against the adoption of NASA's People's Assembly motion.
Kwale County is the 10th devolved unit to adopt the motion.
The motion was passed on Wednesday evening following a heated debate.
During the session, NASA MCAs outnumbered their counterparts who later walked out of the chambers.
Jubilee politician Mshenga Ruga said he will lead other Jubilee leaders in opposing the formation of a People's Assembly through court.
He said the assembly is irrelevant in Kwale county.
"Our main agenda as Kwale leaders should have been developed. The People's Assembly will not solve any problems. By passing the motion, MCA's surrendered their responsibility to represent the people of Kwale. I will go to court to challenge it," he said.
He added that the move will lead to loss of public funds.
