A rare photo of Cord Principal Raila odinga speaking on phone while resting his leg on a car tyre has sparkled an online challenge, with Kenyan's online trying to ape the former prime minister's pose.

The photo, which was apparently taken on Wednesday at Voi, has now dethroned a similar act few months ago by Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni who sat on a chair beside his waiting motorcade as he made a phone call.

Speaking to Nairobi News, ODM Communications Director Philip Etale said that it was not a PR stunt as that photo was innocently taken.

“It (the photo) was innocently taken by one of our crew. We didn’t know it would elicit such a reaction, in fact Baba is shocked but very excited by it,” Etale is quoted as saying.
