Just after former KTN investigative journalist Mohammed Ali, alias Moha Jicho Pevu claimed he was rigged out of the Nyali parliamentary ODM nomination race, Wafule Buke has issued more revelations.
Buke is ODM's Director of Strategy, strong ODM party leader Raila Odinga's ally and a former Executive Director of the party, before Oduor Ong'wen succeeded him.
Moha claimed the family of Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, rigged him out in favour of brother Abdalla Said.Below is Buke's revelation, posted on his facebook account, Monday April 24:
I watched Mohamed Ali alias Jicho Pevu felled in Nyali.
1.First was the concern for his own life" knowing his opponents" 2. then there was the fear for the adoring supporters whose warm embrace created security issues. 3. Then there were the marauding Range rovers that crisscrossed Nyali constituency from ward to ward.4. Interestingly, the NEB Commissioner in charge of coast uses the picture of Joho as his whatsup ID making Moha angry with ODM.5. Moha is informed of massive stuffing of ballot papers in favor of his opponent so sets his machine on the look out. 6. He gets a windfall when a fraction of the said ballots are caught by the police so he calls the media.7. The media is compromised and refuses to bring cameras to capture the crime on video despite having been in the media himself. The boy is dejected.8. So he calls me to witness. To strengthen his case, he replaces his media colleagues and takes pictures of me holding ballot papers marked in favor of salim with the ocs of the station. 9. Some local cameraman tries to take a picture of me and him but he stops him so that the collusion theory is not invoked should the issue come up for re-consideration10. He goes to a polling station and finds his people engaging the NEB establishment. the situation turns violent and so the police move in to impose order violently. 11. Materials are taken to the local police station and ones again the media refuses to interview the NEB returning officer and take pictures. 12. At 2.pm he calls me and reports that his agents are overwhelmed by the huge numbers of opponent's agents so he declares that he is pulling out of the race and summoning his agents. 13.I tell him to hold on I consult Oduor Ongwen and Oduor advises that he keeps in the race but documents the crimes. I plead with my devastated younger comrade Moha and he agrees to carry on till loss.14. At 4.pm I retire to Ukunda to celebrate my being out of the race for any seat as I wait for false results on Moha versus salim.15. I call NEB Commissioner Nsale and he talks of a way forward that disregards the massive electoral theft using fake ballots.16. He further lies to me about kwale aspirants consensus not knowing that I was with them. 17. I Call him to speak to each of the aspirants he had lied about and he is insulted variously.18. In the evening I send him a message "I can understand why the likes of Trump and Sonko are taking over the world. The learned are more evil and self seeking" and he replies: "I don't want to pick a fight with you".
