Miruka said the problem of the opposition is failure to agree by now on who will be its flag bearer.

Speaking to the press in his office on Tuesday, Miruka said each of the co-principal is under pressure from its supporters to run for president.

“Kambas, where Kalonzo comes from, and Luhyas, where Wetangula is from, feel now is their time to rule. They feel that this is the last bullet for “Baba”, as Raila is popularly called and so would try anything to ensure that the party does not loose in 2017,” he added

He termed Raila as a “slow puncture politician” who is slowly losing touch with new campaign strategies.

“Supporters feel that if Raila cannot make it, he should step down and allow other people to rule. The one man syndrome is what is slowly tiring the supporters," he said.

“Raila's method of seeking votes is outdated and people are worried that time is running out. Kenyans are done with the blame game that takes place whenever he loses the election,” he added.
