As the ODM party leader Raila Odinga says he takes cognisance of the deep and weighty resolutions of the Pwani Declaration, that Coastal region politicians announced.
Governors Ali Hassan Joho (Mombasa), John Mruttu (Taita Taveta) and Amason Kingi (Kilifi) revealed that they (Coast region) fully supports Odinga and his presidential ambitions.
Raila said he commits to:
''1. Fully implement the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Report within 100 days.
2. Respect the institution of the National Land Commission and create the space necessary for the Commission to deliver on their constitutional mandate.
3. Devolve at least 47% of national revenue to County Governments regardless of political affiliation to allow them deliver services at the grassroots.
4. Facilitate the passage of an Amended Natural Resources Bill stating that at least 15% of local natural resource revenue remain at the counties.
5. Facilitate the establishment of a Health Service Commission.''
