The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has made a special request to opposition supporters.

Speaking during the burial of Radieda MP’s mother, Mama Gladys Amollo, Odinga asked his supporters to solely support ODM candidates and those affiliated to the other four NASA parties. Elizabeth Ongoro’s and MP Otiende Amollo’s mother was laid to rest in Rarieda with her last ceremony attended by several VIPs.

The NASA chief urged the crowd to vote for NASA parties so that he gets the constitutional requirements of 25% elected leaders in 47 counties.

“The NASA coalition has five parties, ODM, Ford Kenya, ANC, Chama cha Mashinani and Wiper whose candidates should be considered in the coming general election to boost my bid,” said Raila at the funeral as reported by Tuko.

Raila also asked those who lost in the primaries to support winners. He said those who stick to their decision to vie as independent candidates do not support NASA’s vision.

His sentiments were echoed by Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi. The proposed Chief Minister requested the losers to emulate his politics when he decided to support Raila Odinag despite the fact that he (Mudavadi) is the mother of NASA.
