Ahead of his planned swearing-in, National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga has issued a number of demands to supporters for the Tuesday event.

Speaking in Homa Bay on Saturday, Raila urged his supporters to wake up early on Tuesday and march to Uhuru Park.

The ODM leader said that all supporters must be armed with white handkerchiefs to the event.

Raila has maintained that he will move on with the event despite threats of being charged with treason from the Attorney General.

However, Raila has said that he is ready to be charged.

“They say they will charge me with treason. I want say here today in Homa Bay, Asego Kanyada that I’m ready to pay the ultimate price.” Raila said Kenya will never be the same again.

“On January 30, Raila will be at Uhuru Park. I will take the oath. I’m telling the police not to interfere because it will be the biggest peaceful demonstration ever held in post independent Kenya,” Raila said.
