The decision by NASA leadership to come up with an affidavit that would be signed by MPs on Raila Odinga's swearing-in was a wider plot to trap traitors, says Cleophas Malala.

So far, 93 MPs have signed the document of the 153  NASA Senators and MPs according to the outspoken Kakamega senator.

"We had to sit down with him (Raila) and find the best way of committing these leaders. It will be easier to identify moles," he said at an interview in a local Television Station.

Lately, there have been speculations that a number of NASA principals are opposed to Raila's swearing in.

But Malala says the idea, which was proposed by Raila, would enable supporters know MPs who are opposed to the popular idea of swearing-in.

"I think it has worked since all NASA supporters will know those opposing us. I am thankful to Raila for proposing the idea."

By Wednesday, even the Wiper party of Kalonzo Musyoka, which had been widely linked with internal opposition, had unanimously supported the swearing-in.
