[Photo| Courtesy]Unconfirmed reports indicate that former Kisumu deputy governor, Ruth Odinga, is missing.Ruth, a sister to Opposition leader Raila Odinga, is said to have gone missing, after she was allegedly arrested by the police Wednesday, October 18, alongside, area Senator Fred Outa.The duo were arrested, for allegedly participating in disrupting an IEBC training exercise, ahead of October 26, fresh presidential election.After the incident, County Chief of Staff Patrick Outa confirmed arrest of the two, saying they were “taken to an unknown police station.”According to the Daily Nation Odinga's aide, confirmed that her boss was put in police custody, known to none of them.“I have moved to different police stations but not found her anywhere,” the aide told the local daily.However, Nyanza regional police boss Leonard Katana, denied that the senator and the former deputy governor were in police custody.“We are yet to make any arrests on the leaders,” said Katana, as reported by the daily, Thursday.
