The son to opposition chief Raila Odinga is not happy with US ambassador Robert Godec.
Raila Junior Odinga in a tweet to the envoy said Godec has no capacity to lecture Kenyans on matters corruption and should thus retire and return to his country.
"I thought Bob Godec you were leaving! After you sabotaged election theft how do you want to be the moral authority on corruption? Good governance starts with a credible democratic system," he said.
Raila Junior posted the tweet after Godec said Kenya has no shortcut to fighting corruption but face it head-on and punish the perpetrators.
Godec had said: "Corruption is theft from Kenyans and there are no shortcuts to tackling it. It requires strong Kenyan political leadership, zero tolerance for corruption and all government agencies working together. Those found guilty of stealing should be held accountable."
Godec is expected to leave Kenya after US President Donald Trump announced major changes in his government. The changes affected embassies and Godec is among envoys recalled back to the US.
Godec will be replaced by Illinois Senator Kyle McCarter who is waiting for clearance from the US Senate before officially taking up his position as US envoy to Kenya.
