Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga on Sunday visited Kisumu county, and attended a thanksgiving ceremony organised by Governor Anyang' Nyong'o.
Speaking after the church service, Odinga urged the locals to support his reconciliation agenda ignited by the famous handshake.
“I want to appeal to you the people of Kisumu to support my reconciliation agenda with President Uhuru Kenyatta as the only way for us to realize the devolution agenda,” noted Raila.
He thanked the people of Kisumu for supporting him during the 2017 elections adding that both the executive, legislature and the county assemblies must co-operate to ensure devolution realizes its full potential.
Governor Nyong’o on his part noted that, all the arms of the government must come together and work together as a unit for the interest of Kenyans.
