The firebrand politician who has grown in stature  to become NASA leader Raila Odinga's political rock in the region is seen by many as a future Governor. And with 2022 politics starting to shape up, Wanga might just give a shot at the Gubernatorial seat.

Since the death of Otieno Kajwang in 2014, the man who had long political history with Raila, it was always  going to take time to find his replacement. But Wanga emerged at the right time to take over the wheel and become Homa Bay's political driver.

Then her development record; the vocal MP is credited for initiating many development projects that are aimed at empowering women. The hallmark of her successive tenure so far being the formation of the Homa Bay Women Sacco which is set to become a bank. With a 10,000 membership, the microfinance is the biggest in the region.

And just to confirm that the former Kenyatta University Student Union Secretary General has caught the attention of many, over the weekend, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria endorsed her for Governor come 2022. With the new development, only four years stand between Wanga and history.
