Governor Hassan Joho stands at pole position to inherit Raila Odinga's support base, argues Ex-North Mugirango MP Charles Geni.

At the much publicised Raila's inauguration, Joho was among the few governors who attended the stylish event.

"This is about NASA supporters and those they dim loyal to the party leader. I must say authoritatively that Joho deserves that," he says.

With NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula having distanced themselves from Raila's event, Joho's stakes may have gone a notch higher.

And Geni, now warns ODM luminaries against frustrating Joho, who he thinks stands an automatic beneficiary of Raila's exit from politics.

"He has shown commitment and rarely has he disappointed. Personally I think he should be the automatic heir."

In previous rallies, Joho has been a crowd mover with his sour relatioship with Jubilee government even making it easier for him to attract support from NASA supporters.
