NASA legal guru and Siaya Senator James Orengo says plans to swear in Raila Odinga as president are almost complete.
During Tuesday's first public address in as many weeks, Odinga insisted that nothing will stop him from taking oath of office despite calls by Western envoys to drop his bid.
"I am going to be sworn as president and nobody will stop me. If they want to kill me, let them proceed with than option," he said.
And orengo, on his Facebook account, said preparations were almost done adding that nobody would stop the function from taking place.
A last minute meeting before Jamhuri Day, the Star reported, led to cancellation of the swearing-in plans that had been scheduled to take place in Mombasa.
"Preparations for the swearing-in of Raila Odinga are almost done. Nothing can stop it at this point," he said.
Raila,72, abandoned Presidential repeat poll in October on grounds that electoral body IEBC had failed to sack a number officials linked to bungling of August polls.
Until now, at least 15 counties leaning towards NASA have passed People's Assembly Bill, which is fundamental in agitating for radical reforms in Kenya.
