Raila Odinga' planned inauguration on Tuesday has yet again suffered a major blow following unprecedented declaration by Koigi Wamwere, a renowned multiparty democracy fighter.

With a section of NASA top leadership said to be opposed with the plan, Wamwere, a close confidant of Odinga, now wants him to be cautious.

"Before you take the grave matter of being sworn in, listen to many voices as you can. It can help," wrote Wamwere in the Nation.

A committee in charge of the controversial swearing-in will disclose the venue and list of invited guests on Sunday, although it has remained a top secret.

But the team is also concerned about the continued absence of Raila's deputy. Kalonzo Musyoka who is currently in Germany.

"What we do know is whether to take judges to Germany to administer oath to him. We are still consulting," said Oduor Ongwen.

Months before August elections, Wamwere joined Raila Odinga's NASA coalition after a short stint in Jubilee.

During 80s and 90s, the two politicians were incarcerated by retired president Daniel Moi over their radical approach to issues.
