The swearing of National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will do the nation more harm than good, Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement Leader Alfred Mutua has said.
Mutua said that the nation already has a president, adding that the people’s president’s talk has not come at the right time.
“Any talk about a second, so-called people’s president, spells uncertainty and discord in the country and will chase away any investor previously keen on Kenya. Our youth will continue to suffer from no jobs and the poor will only get poorer,” he wrote on Facebook.
The governor also said that the opposition is pushing for a coalition government after the leaders called for dialogue.“My instinct tells me that the NASA brigade wants to force a dialogue for nusu mkate as has been done before’ he added.
He also challenged the leaders of the political umbrella to come clean over their plans ahead of the planned oath taking ceremony which is said to take place at the end of the month.
