Kitui South MP Rachel Kaki Nyamai has warned Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka against taking part in NASA’s planned swearing-in ceremony scheduled for January 30.Nyamai argued that Kalonzo is being misled by NASA leader Raila Odinga to agree to the swearing-in which is not backed by the law.Speaking to journalists outside the Kitui Law Courts on Wednesday moments after the court upheld her victory in last year's polls, the Jubilee MP said ‘Kalonzo will be the biggest causality if Raila takes oath as the people’s president’.The legislator claimed that Kalonzo is being used as a sacrificial lamb, adding that he should forget about 2022 if he accepts to take the oath alongside Raila.“It is unfortunate that Kalonzo has decided to advocate and support Raila’s illegal swearing in which will cost him his career,” she said.Nyamai pleaded with the Wiper leader to abandon NASA and support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government development agenda. She said Kalonzo has been in the political cold for a long time, adding that its time he made bold decisions that will help him revive his political career.A section of Kamba politicians has been piling pressure on Kalonzo to dump Raila in order to keep his 2022 presidential dream alive.Kalonzo has however maintained that he is in NASA to stay and that he is ready to take the oath alongside Raila Odinga on January 30.NASA plans to swear in Raila and Kalonzo as the people’s president and deputy president.Pressure is, however, mounting on the opposition to drop the swearing-in plan and seek dialogue with the Jubilee government.
