The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) director of strategy Wafula Buke on Wedesday accused Senator Moses Wetangula of being unfaithful in the coalition.
Speaking on Thursday during an interview, Wafula, a close ally of Odinga claimed that in one of the funerals they attended with the Ford Kenya leader, he demanded to be recognized for representing him in Court during his trial.
" ...I reflected on our history of the struggle mentioning the two heroes present (Raila and Orengo). When I finished and sat next to Wetangula, he spoke in protest " you should have mentioned that I was your lawyer when you were jailed" I replied "but my father paid for the services", he stated.
His statement comes at a time when Wetangula is facing is facing an ouster from his Senate Minority Leadership position with Siaya Senator James Orengo poised to take over.
On Thursday, ODM requested for the removal of Senator Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority leader.
Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka approved the request but suspended it until he receives official communication from the NASA coalition. .
