Below is National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga's message during burial of Chris Msando in Ugunja, Siaya County, Saturday August 19, 2017."Today, fellow NASA Principals Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, Hon. Moses Wetangula and I joined the family of the Late IEBC ICT Director Chris Msando in laying him to rest at his rural home in Lifunya village, Ugenya. Like all funerals, it was a sad occasion, but the fact that Chris was brutally murdered at the prime of his life, leaving behind a young family, made for an immensely solemn ceremony. In solidarity with his family, and Kenya at large, we shall not relent in our quest for answers and to bring his killers to book. The monstrous culture of impunity that seeks to eliminate members of our society that uphold the rule of law and stand for the greater good, must come to an end. As a nation we have said enough is enough, Kenya must change. It is noteworthy that Chris had played a key role in the systems designed to ensure vote-counting accuracy in the election and emphasized in the media that they were tamper-proof, to ensure that the IEBC delivered a free, fair, credible election. We suspect that it is for this selfsame reason that the forces of evil sought to do away with him.To this end we shall not relent in our quest for justice for Chris Msando. Our prayers are with his loved ones at this very trying time.May his soul rest in peace."
