After suffering a last-minute loss to Vihiga United last weekend, Modern Coast Rangers will be back into action this evening as they host Bidco United, in a match that will be played at Mbaraki grounds, Mombasa.

Reacting to last weekend's defeat, head coach Ahmed Mchulla blamed bad luck for the loss that also happened to be their first of the season having played four matches."We played well and defended well with good organization. Our opponents played too much long balls but we were able to contain them. However, it was bad luck that we conceded a goal in the last minute," said Mchulla, as quoted by goal.comPrior to the painful loss against Vihiga, Rangers who have set the bar high during the current 2017 season had managed two draws and a win in three outings.Currently sitting 8th on the log with five points, Rangers are out to make amends on their weekend loss and a win will see them climb to position 4 on the table ahead of Saturday matches.
