[PHOTO/the-star.co.ke]Posta Rangers head coach Sammy Omollo “Pamzo” is not a happy man following the 1-1 draw with Sofapaka in their match played at Narok County Stadium in Saturday.
Rangers clung onto their 1-0 lead to the end of the regular time but Sofapaka's Umaru Kasumba rose to equalise for Batoto Ba Mungu in the extra minutes to deny the mailmen the maximum points.
“We played a good game which we dominated and we could have picked the three points. It was sad to concede in the last minutes of the game after leading for the better part. The boys are playing well. We had a tough game against Gor and I feel we could have scored at least three goals," he said.
"Dennis Mukaisi and Geoffrey Kataka had one on one chances which they did not score to give us a huge and secure lead. We are now depending on other teams to beat Gor so as to catch up with them and it may not end in our favor. We now need to score at least three goals per match in order increase our chances of a win per game,” he added.
Rangers had taken their early lead through Kennedy Otieno.
