A defensive Posta Rangers frustrated Bandari FC to a goalless draw in a match played at the Mbaraki Stadium on Sunday.Bandari who had earlier in the week thumped relegation-threatened Muhoroni Youth 5-2 began the match on a dominant note, threatening to score from time to time.Danger man Edwin Lavatsa had a rare opportunity to break the deadlock in the fourth minute when he connected a beautiful Hassan Abdalla cross but his goal-bound shot was blocked by Joackins Atudo. The former Gor Mahia man tried his luck again, this time fluffing a weak shot towards Rangers goalmouth which was comfortably cleared by Atudo in the 14th minute.Rangers had their first attempt when Atudo received a clever through pass from Luke Ochieng but the Kenyan international hit a side net as the match proceeded to halftime. The second half was a more balanced affair with both teams trying to break the deadlock but it was to no avail as the match ended in a goalless stalemate. The solitary point consolidated Bandari's hold to ninth on the log with 40 points while Rangers moved to second with 50 points.
