[Photo/Citizen TV]Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Posta Rangers is now eyeing the top three positions, if not the league title, in the new KPL season set for February 2.Speaking to the press during a training session in Nairobi Tuesday, Rangers head coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo noted that the team which finished fourth in the concluded 2017 season performed below average as a result of a poor striking force. He said that he has considered the same in his pre-season signings with new forwards being imported to sharpen the team's attacking wing.''We suffered from a weak striking force last season which saw us score fewer goals. However, we believe we are stronger this time as we have brought on board new strikers to sharpen our attacking squad. We are sure we will be able to finish in the top 3,'' said the tactician. His comments were echoed by a new signing Danson Kago who has joined the team from Tusker FC.According to Kago, 23, the team has the capability to beat the likes of title holders Gor Mahia to emerge top.''The team is strong and is actually among the top contenders for the league title. We look forward to winning the league and we know we can achieve the goal,'' he said. The team has also signed Osborne Mande who joined from Kariobangi Sharks.
