Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma has re-affirmed his support for talent.

He said his government has been recognising and promoting talents ever since he assumed office.

He was speaking in Muhoroni Sub-county where he witnessed Masogo Nyang'oma ward football competition finals. 

''My government recongises the need for local talent. Through the relevant department, we have set aside enough funds to support youth talents including sports, drama and art,'' he said.

He further called on the youth to engage in sporting and other activities which they are talented, saying it could likely boost their career.

''We will continue supporting our young people to help them identify and reward their talents,'' Ranguma said, Sunday.
